Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we stay in the Dominican Republic?

We serve with the Lighthouse Projects in Los Alcarrizos, Santo Domingo. Members of our team have been coming here for the better part of two decades and have been involved in a great deal of the construction projects you will see during your trip. In addition to serving in Los Alcarrizos in 2017 we also began serving in the Villa Altagracia community where we began construction of a water purification plant and bleachers at their community field.

Is it family friendly?

Yes! While in the Dominican Republic we stay in secure facilities within a walled compound. If you are looking to have a family missions experience, then this is the trip for you. Our participants cover all age ranges and our activities are geared towards family participation at all levels.

How much does it cost?

The cost for the full trip is $1200 per person, which covers airfare, project costs, meals, and accommodations. Additional activities, such as whitewater rafting, or horseback riding are not included. If you wish to participate in those activities, be sure to bring enough cash to cover those expenses. Additionally, we will be stopping at a street marketplace where you may want to purchase souvenirs and gifts. These locations typically only accept cash. Consider carrying small bills and notify your bank of your travel plans of you plan on using a credit/debit card in the Dominican Republic.

An initial non-refundable deposit of $350 is required to confirm your trip. (This is used to secure your flight.) The remaining balance of $850 is due 2 weeks prior to departure. You can pay your deposit and trip fee via cash or check made payable to Creators Game. (If paying with credit card, please add $35 to your trip total to help cover transaction fees charge by our bank. Credit card payments can be made by clicking here.)

How can I make a payment for my trip?

Payments for your trip can be made by check made payable to:

Creator’s Game
PO Box 2448
Palm Beach, FL 33480

If you would like to make a payment using a credit card, please be advised that our bank charges transaction fees for credit card payment. Please add $35 to your trip cost to cover the transaction fees. Online payments can be made by clicking here. Please note “DR 2019” in the description and your family/group name if applicable.

Travel to the Dominican Republic require a valid US Passport that will not expire within 6 months of the travel date. You’ll also need a second piece of identification, such as a driver’s license.

No special vaccinations are required for entry into the Dominican Republic, however we do recommend get a booster shot including tetanus and optionally a vaccination for hepatitis A.
